Malcolm X speech in LA 1962
The video is of a speech that was given by Malcolm X entitled “The Most Disrespected person in Amerikkka is the Black Woman.” In this speech he makes great points that are still very relevant today but are all too often ignored and forgotten about as if they are old and outdated approaches that won't work.
Malcolm X was a Black Nationalist, one that called on his people to come together and unite no matter if they were from Nigeria, or Harlem. The one key thing that we all have in common other than our skin color is the enemy that is and has been trying to keep us oppressed and as the lower caste race in this country, while we constantly stay content and sing Kumbaya.
Instead of us Uniting with each other on the basis of Black Nationalism we are odds with each other because some of us don't understand, and some just don't want to even try.
Some of our people are content in their own ignorance. They are comfortably content and wear their ignorance as a cloak of pride.
This country has divided us in more ways than one, and is their tactic to divide and conquer, as they have done in the past with some of our most powerful Black influential leaders. Such as Malcolm X.
He was such a threat to the very existence of this countries way of life that they had to do something to stop him. Just as the government has done with sending informants into other Black organizations, they have done the same to Malcolm X and the NOI.
FBI failed attempt at bribing Malcolm X.
These same people that you are uniting with, and protesting with has done everything that they can to keep you divided against your own kind, and yet some of you are still in agreement with what and how they say we should live and run our lives as Black people in this country.
Not one Politrickcian has even brought up the ideas of Black Nationalism, or what Malcolm X stood for, instead they will continue to agree with a people who wants nothing more for you and your kind to fail and forever be the lower caste in this country.
What is curious to me, rather has me confused is how many more times are some of our people still going to believe in a people and system that never will or had their best interest a heart.
It seems that no matter how this government or its systems treat us some of our people will continue to have faith in them, instead of believing in their own kind and uniting in Black Nationalism a system proven to work in our favor.
