White people love them some MLK. Basically, they love a passive Nigga. One that will continue to turn the other cheek so they can smack him in the other one.
True history of this Man’s life will be ignored especially those points in his life when he was close to his death and started to believe in what Malcolm X had been saying to Black people all along.
White Amerikkka will never shed light on the true King and what he was starting to realize about this racist country. Martin was tired of turning the other cheek, and now was beginning to devise new plans of action for his people to become free from oppression.
The white media and school curriculums will never quote his words when he said that his people were integrating into a burning house.
“We have fought hard and long for integration, as I believe we should have, and I know we will win, but I have come to believe that we are integrating into a burning house”.
The white media will never quote his words when he said the dream he had, has now become a nightmare. They will continue to force the children to believe in something that he no longer seen as realistic.
MLK was starting to see that this country’s foundation was built upon racism, and that integrating into a society that see you less than equal wasn’t going to work.
After the assassination of Malcolm X could it be that Martin was now forced to come to grips that his nonviolent approach to enemies' intent on being violent was not working, and maybe he would have to urge Black people to defend themselves against inherent racist and defend themselves and their families if need be and to stop turning the other cheek?
The truth of the matter is that this country and the government will do everything that they can to uplift and celebrate any Black person man or woman that will continue to keep their people in a submissive, obedient state to a system that will continue and oppress them as they see fit.
